Retired from teaching in 1994, after 30 years of teaching and officiating Volleyball. I have fond memories of my days in Big Rapids. The fun with the Cheer Leaders, that included Saturday trips to cheering competions. The P.E. Classes, and our Soccer games on that muddy practice field next to the South end of the school! Lots of laughs and great fun.
After retiring from all those years of sports activity, I wanted to do something totally different. I have always loved sewing, so I joined some Quilting Groups and have made many beautiful projects. I also wanted to stay in shape, and at the age of 40, I decided to get into Running. I ran several 10K races, up until the age of 56. I am thankful that I have stayed in pretty good health.
I hope you have all had a good life and doing well. I am sorry that I cannot be with you on this very special occasion, but will be thinking of you. It is hard to believe that it has been 50 years.
Best Wishes to All of You and God Bless,
